6. Testbed6.1. Testcase
Our testbed consists of two nodes and one Access Point (AP). One
node functions as the Supplicant (WN), the other as the back-end
Authentication Server running RADIUS (AS). The Access Point is the
Authenticator. See figure testbed
for explanation.
 |
It is crucial that the Access Point be able to reach (ping) the
Authentication Server, and vice versa!
|
6.2. Running some tests
That's it! The Supplicant is now authenticated to use the Access
Point!

Hacker A slang term for a computer enthusiast, i.e., a person who enjoys learning programming languages and computer systems and can often be considered an expert on the subject(s). Depending on how the term is used it can be either complimentary or derogatory, although it is developing an increasingly derogatory connotation. The netative sense of hacker is becoming more prominent largely because the popular press has adopted the term to refer to individuals who gain unauthorized access to computer systems for the purpose of stealing and corrupting data.
